這五個字，是三樣好吃的?，F在沒幾個人稀罕，但過去是寶，和新衣服、小鞭炮、橘子、蘋果、大魚大肉一樣，是小孩兒對大年的真正盼頭。
　　先說瓜子。我的童年，院子里除養(yǎng)著雞鴨豬羊，每年春天還要種上幾十棵葵花。不過，秋天打下瓜子，如果大人不放話，只能偷偷去涼房抓幾顆生的解饞，想炒一碗，得家里來了重要客人，才能跟著沾光。但有些瓜子不受限制，是可以隨便吃的，如西瓜子、大瓜子、葫蘆子、南瓜子，只要曬干了，不用請示，啥時候都可以炒。后來還時行過吃哈密瓜瓜子兒。
　　雖然小的有點兒捏不住，但嗑出的也是仁兒啊。我家院兒里的葵花因為能吃上大糞、喝上洋井水，每年收成都不賴，總是滿滿兒一大鐵篩子。這些瓜子臘月底用大鐵鍋炒熟，正月里來了拜年的，一盤一盤端上，大家除了說笑、喝茶，就是嗑瓜子兒。小孩兒有意思，先在嘴里含塊兒，然后再一顆一顆嗑瓜子兒，啥都不誤。我喜歡聽很多人一起嗑瓜子兒。那聲音，清脆響亮，快慢有度，此起彼伏，實在是音樂的節(jié)奏，也實在是過年不能少的一種能讓人心情愉悅的好聲音。
　　五十歲以上的呼市人都有過在電影院門口買一毛錢一杯瓜子兒的經歷。賣瓜子兒的老鄉(xiāng)蹲在地上，半口袋瓜子，一個小玻璃杯，一把毛票，就是整個買賣。后來老鄉(xiāng)學精了，先是把廣口杯換成了直筒杯，接著又把直筒杯換成了自制的薄紙殼杯，繼而生出了多賺錢的鬼點子，就是把紙杯靠近底部那一節(jié)架空，表面看杯子很大，實際有三分之一是假象。有年冬天我爸從廠里弄回家兩桶葵花籽，說是五七隊用機器炒熟的。我那時咋也想不通機器為啥能把瓜子兒炒熟，感覺非常神秘。謎底直到后在東瓦窯貨棧親眼看見滾筒炒瓜子兒時才被揭開。兩桶瓜子兒我們留了一桶，我和我姐用棍兒抬上給我二大爺送去一桶。那年春節(jié)，我們兩家的瓜子兒和其它人家相比，應該是多的。
　　再說花生。前可不是家家都能吃上，除非你產地有親戚或朋友。計劃經濟時期嗎，花生還沒被計劃到呼市來，所以有錢也找不見賣的。我姥爺為了能吃到花生，曾異想天開地在內蒙醫(yī)院北墻外自家院子里試種過，可秋天挖出來曬干一看，殼里的花生仁兒因為氣候不適宜而欠長，小的比葵花仁兒大不了多少。后來就不種了。上世紀七十年代末吧，葵花子兒和殼花生終于被“計劃”到了呼市，但不在市場上，在糧站。雖然只是針對于春的“增供”品，可也足夠大人孩子滿心歡喜了。那時花生米依然，過年請人來家吃飯要是桌上有油炸花生米，盤子肯定個空。上世紀八十年代初，我爸去山東還是哪兒出差，順便買了一小麻袋花生米，大概是五十斤。當時坐火車不好拿，就走郵局，地址寫的是乳品廠。結果，單位領導以為東西是業(yè)務單位賄賂我爸的，居然還偷偷摸摸派人去搞了外調。
　　后說糖。這東西我家也不缺。平常我爸經常到外地出差，每到一處，必買一斤當地糖果。但那時沒其它零食，家里孩子又多，所以每次吃糖，都得我媽給分，怕我們自己分不公平吵架。過年的時候，自己吃，來了客人也往上端，就得多買。我媽有辦法，五斤一包的北京雜拌兒糖捎回來，水果的、牛奶的、軟的、酥的、帶花生的， 每人總共能分到幾十塊兒，各保管各的，各吃各的;過小年兒要是買不上麻糖，我們就吃自己的牛奶糖，一樣粘嘴啊。至于“老公家”剩的那份兒，是留著招待來拜年的人，誰也別惦記　　我有個同學，她們家生活其實挺好，但過年時裝瓜子和糖的盤子卻鎖在柜里，來了客人端出來，客人走了再鎖起來。有一回出去送客，在大門外多說了幾句，結果一盤東西就被守在家里的幾個孩子給“哄搶”了。
　　從前過年，我們總盼著兩個上衣兜和兩個褲兜都能裝滿瓜子花生糖，可現在的孩子，想裝的，應該是新潮手機和各種面額的票子吧。
